There are various spheres of life, positions people are meant to occupy and operate. Unfortunately, so many are not functioning within their sphere, making life a struggle and living below purpose.

The Eagle resides and functions best in the atmosphere. No predator can conquer the Eagle on air, not even a snake and that’s because that’s it’s terrain, where it was made to be. There are horizons the Eagle will never cover, if it runs on land, even though it can move or run on land. God who made the birds for the sky gave them wings. The Lion, though the King of the Jungle, is without wings, because he wasn’t made for the air.

Most times, it’s not all about what you have. If you know what you have but you fail to identify and operate within your sphere, they will be useless. The Eagle’s wings are useless on land and there’s a limit to how far it can go or how high it can reach when it doesn’t fly in the air.

People who don’t know what they’ve been given by God or who they are and where they ought to be are like the Eagle envying the Lion, trying to compete with it in a race or aiming to be the King of the Jungle, trying to roar and run, while the sky lies still, waiting for them to soar.

Genesis 1:20 says “And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creatures that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of the earth’. The God who created the birds for the air (the atmosphere) and the fishes in the sea (the hydrosphere), could not have left any human being, who He has created specially without his sphere or space.

Don’t try to copy or be like someone else. God has given you all you need, to be who you ought to be.

Do you know your gifts, talents, abilities, skills and potentials? Then, look for where and how they can be maximally utilized. You’re good with machines and appliances and you’re working in a bank? You enjoy talking, socializing, people and you’re applying for a job in the laboratory? It’s like putting a square peg in a round hole; it might fit in but with great difficulty and less efficiency.

You can engage in so many things but there’s something specific God has created you for, that’s your sphere! Discover it and you’d be surprised how high you’d fly. Need help finding your sphere? Go back to God, He made you and knows just where you perfectly fit.

Do you have any other of what a sphere should be? Have you found yours? How did you discover it? Please leave your comments, questions and additions below in the reply box.
